Cinemacon is the largest and most important gathering of movie theater owners from around the world.
It’s where all the cinema world’s important people gather year after year to see the newest equipment, services, ideas, and it’s a lot of fun. Coca-Cola has been the presenting sponsor for the last years, and after a successful input on the closing night party in 2022, LNL Agency was trusted with the entire execution of the Coca-Cola sponsorship at the event. That meant Trade Show Booth, Ancillary Branding, VIP Lounge, and Closing Night Party.
But there was something different about this project…
After 15 years of working with Coca-Cola, one of the things that becomes recurring are the limitations we have as creatives when working with a top world’s brand. There are a ton of guidelines and rules.
However, this journey had a different start. After an exciting briefing on how our client wanted to go in a new and exciting route, we headed to Atlanta, to visit the Coca-Cola Brand Vault. This place is a dream for any designer or marketing professional. All the significant pieces of the Coca-Cola brand for more than 125 years are there.
The purpose of the visit was to get inspiration, get to know what has been done over a century, and then we were given one of the biggest responsibilities we’ve had with this client: We had to create the Key Visuals for this particular event. No more “use this logo here and there”, now we had to create it from scratch.
Luckily for us, and for everyone involved, the final outcome was a massive success. Our original key visual was a complete hit with all the attendees, Coke employees and external guests. Furthermore, this concept served as a starting point for the whole activation look and feel, captivating the attention of all the event attendees.
With this event, we proved ourselves and our client, Coca-Cola, that we were able to take their brand and transform it for this event, while maintaining its core integrity. Of course that required to combine the experience we have, hard work and an always growing skillset.
In addition to that, we were trusted to develop special artwork for ancillary branding, getting to play not only with the Coca-Cola brand, but with recognized movie franchises.
